I’m the kind of traveller who likes to venture off the beaten track..just not so far off the track that I can no longer see the track. Think adventurous, but without feeling the need to chuck myself out of a plane or swim with sharks (except the cute friendly ones I found in Bora Bora). I’m lucky enough to have a travel partner in crime (my husband) who despite having a secret fear of flying, does agree to travel to some pretty random (but amazing) corners of the globe with me. We like to travel in style(ish) but not ultra luxury. Nice enough to avoid that icky hotel feeling, but economical enough to pay for the next adventure.
Aside from my personal travel adventures, I’m blessed to have forged a marketing career in the travel industry, working for some of the best known travel booking brands which has seen me partnering with an array of inspirational tourism boards, hotels, airlines and more. My career has only fueled my passion for travel.
My travel bug motive is pure and simple…there is nothing better than discovering and connecting with a new place, new people, new landscapes & new cultures.
